Back then, I bought an Xbox specifically for Sunset Overdrive since it was an exclusive title. However, I just couldn't get the hang of the Xbox controller and system, as I had only ever owned a PlayStation 2 and 3. Years after the PlayStation 4 era, I decided to switch to a gaming laptop and Steam, where I found the game available and It is incredibly fun – similar to Saints Row, but much more colorful. I enjoyed almost everything about it, from the character customization to the gameplay. My only complaint is the lack of detail when it comes to environmental destruction and leaving tracks, as they clearly didn't focus much on that aspect and it's not a part of the story. It would have been a nice-to-have feature if destroying buildings and streets impacted the story and character design, but they choose to make the game more 'clean'.
