This detective puzzle game follows Janet, a journalist sent to the abandoned town of Painscreek to investigate the deaths of its residents. Expecting to find a story to publish, she gradually uncovers secrets tied to the town’s past and the killings.

The player explores a semi-open world, gathers clues and evidence, and takes notes and photographs of important discoveries. Logical puzzles call for observation and deduction. With no quest markers or hint system, progress depends on connecting the evidence and piecing together what happened.
