A kinetic visual novel set in a world where a vast dome separates Earth from the ocean of the heavens, and sea nymphs tend to the stars. Magic is fading and the stars are dying, but no one speaks of it; amid this decline, several characters struggle to find meaning in their lives and their fading world.
The Waters Above: Prelude is a prequel to The Waters Above, comprising four short episodes, each focused on one of the main characters. They include Maera, a starkeeper; her girlfriend Clio; Iris, a researcher; and Apple, a star who has taken human form for the first time in ten thousand years.
