Ultimate Space Commando

This turn-based sci-fi tactics game, with strategy and RPG elements, follows the crew of the recon vessel U.S.C. Wraith, stranded on an isolated mining planet amid a hostile first contact with aliens. The campaign spans more than 30 semi-randomized missions in which the player explores the planet, gathers resources and blueprints, and tries to contact Earth. Its story offers multiple possible outcomes and endings.

Squads can be customized by assigning skill points and equipping crew members with weapons, ammunition, and gear. Turn-based combat features 18 weapon types and a range of gadgets, while interactive randomized maps allow the crew to find supplies, salvage resources, and hack doors. The game also includes crafting, several difficulty levels, and both TCP/IP and hot-seat multiplayer modes.
