A mystery visual novel with supernatural elements continues the Ushiromiya family’s story on Rokkenjima on October 4, 1986. At the annual family gathering, the aging head of the family is near death, while his children dispute their inheritance and search for the hidden gold. A letter from a witch raises the question of whether there are really only 18 people on the island.
Umineko When They Cry - Answer Arcs contains episodes five through eight and forms the second half of the series. Murders leave behind unsolved riddles, and the player must unravel the mystery of the epitaph and determine whether the culprit is one of the people on the island or a witch.
