This story-driven role-playing adventure is set in a fantasy interpretation of ancient India, where five ordinary people struggle to survive in the famine-stricken city-state of Bhimra. The characters include a peasant girl facing an arranged marriage, a priest, a slum dweller, an ambassador from a militant nation, and a mercenary captain, each with their own burdens and goals.

Players make choices and navigate branching conversations, using persuasion and manipulation while turning to violence only rarely. Decisions in one chapter affect later events and can shape another character’s fate. There are no fail states: a character’s death or failure becomes part of the story, while Iron Man mode removes the chance to try again.
