A boxing simulator viewed from behind the fighter, based on a manga about high school student Ippo Makunouchi’s path to the professional ring. In Victorious Boxers: Revolution, Ippo’s story begins with him being bullied by his classmates before he takes up boxing and works his way up the professional ranks.
During bouts, players throw jabs, straight punches, uppercuts and hooks, while dodging and swaying to avoid attacks. Motion-based controls translate punches and defensive moves to the screen, with less demanding control schemes also available. Alongside Story Mode, the game lets players fight several rounds with friends.
