A hybrid roguelike and space simulator about exploring an unvisited region of the galaxy known as the Purple Void and fighting starship battles. Each run randomly generates a new sector, changing the positions of stars and nebulae, alien homeworlds, lifeforms, artifacts, and quest events.
The player explores a star map using a turn-based movement system and engages in real-time ship combat. The game also includes a battle simulator and support for community-created mods that can alter various parts of the experience.
