A turn-based strategy game in the Worms series, where teams of worms battle for forts and strategically important locations. Players build and expand castles, raising walls, towers, citadels and keeps while placing defenses and weapons. Each structure provides special abilities, so construction choices affect the arms race.

The arsenal includes catapults, cannons, giant crossbows, rocket launchers and air strikes, as well as napalm and nuclear attacks. The single-player campaign features 20 missions, while Fort vs. Fort mode supports battles between up to four players.
