A dark point-and-click adventure with puzzles unfolds in New York in 2011, where homeless people are disappearing and Y-shaped scars are appearing on the hands of seemingly unrelated people. Henry White, a wealthy heir involved with a charitable organization, and his friend Cooper begin investigating; they are soon joined by the enigmatic John Yesterday, who has lost his memory.

Players control three characters and solve puzzles as the story takes them from America to Europe and Asia. The investigation brings together the secrets of John’s past, alchemy, Satanism and the Vatican. Its visual style combines hand-drawn 2D backgrounds with 3D characters and objects.
