Obsidian's previous games have had issues with bugs at launch, and it looks like Avowed will be no exception. In a recent interview with YouTube channel MinnMax, game director Carrie Patel admitted that there will be some bugs.
During a quick poll (timecode 2:36), she was asked how she feels about the junk in the game. In response, Carrie Patel said the following: "You gotta accept a little jank to do something fun and creative, I think."
From this, we can conclude that Avowed's gameplay will not be the most polished at release. On the other hand, this is nothing new for Obsidian Entertainment — the most striking example is Fallout: New Vegas.
Let us remind you that Avowed will be released on February 18 on PC and Xbox Series X/S and will appear in Game Pass.
Earlier, Kerry Patel spoke about the features of the upcoming fantasy RPG. There will be no open world in the game, but the developers have provided a wide scope for role-playing.
