Ubisoft developers shared new details of the first add-on for Assassin's Creed: Shadows. Recall that the Claws of Awaji DLC will add a new location and 10 hours of additional content.

As creative producer Jonathan Dumont said in an interview with GameRant, the events of the add-on will unfold after the main game. The heroes will get to the island of Awaji, where new adventures in a creepy atmosphere await them. The opponents of the DLC will be the Sanzoku Ippa clan — its warriors will use techniques characteristic of the player's tactics and "creatively use counter-intelligence measures".

The developers also touched on the topic of post-release support for Assassin's Creed: Shadows, which will be slightly different from Valhalla. In addition to releasing DLC, several special events and additional content, the Ubisoft team intends to listen to players more often and release fixes that are needed by the audience.

Recall that the Claws of Awaji add-on can be obtained by pre-ordering the main game, along with the exclusive Thrown to the Dogs mission. The release of Assassin's Creed: Shadows is scheduled for March 20 for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

Earlier, Ubisoft revealed how the developers approached the recreation of historically accurate Japan. And recently, the action game received an "adult" rating due to sexual and bloody scenes.
