Disco Elysium Creators Announce a New RPG — Teaser Released

The developers behind Disco Elysium at ZA/UM have officially announced their next project. The new RPG, currently titled Project C4, has already received a cryptic teaser.

Described as a “new mind-warping espionage RPG,” Project C4 blends deep dialogues and dice rolls with geopolitical intrigue and covert operations. Players will take on the role of an agent from a "questionable global power," tasked with a desperate mission in the pursuit of "truth and influence." Failure means death—or worse, total exposure.

The game will also feature the use of illicit substances, which can alter the protagonist’s mind and help them “survive the violent canvas of the real.”

There’s no release date for Project C4 yet. Notably, many key developers from Disco Elysium have since left ZA/UM to work on other projects, including Hopetown, an investigative RPG set in a mining town.
