Adobe for Slack brings 70+ creative tools into Slack

Arkadiy Andrienko

Adobe introduced Adobe for Slack on September 2, making the integration available now for Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ customers. The new app brings more than 70 Adobe tools into Slack, letting teams create content without leaving the conversation.

The integration includes tools from Firefly, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Stock and Lightroom. Adobe says the app works across Slack desktop, web and mobile versions. Once the Adobe app is installed, users can message Slackbot with a task and the chatbot will pick the most relevant Adobe tools to complete it. Slackbot can also pull context from conversations, files, channels and Canvases to help shape the result.

Adobe says that setup can be used to turn spreadsheets into visuals, create marketing or social media content from templates, and handle bulk edits on large numbers of images. It can also remove backgrounds and distractions, adjust lighting and tone, and crop and resize images.

Slack is a place where work takes place and where AI turns conversation into action. Embedding Adobe's leading creative and productive tools directly into this stream means that teams don't have to leave correspondence to create content.
