This real-time strategy game unfolds in a fantasy world of feudal rivalries, where players wage war as either Vikings or Cimmerians. To conquer the lands of ogres, werewolves, centaurs, and other non-human peoples, they can build flying vehicles, besiege towns on horseback, and break through citadel walls with battering rams.
The economy revolves around gathering resources and developing a settlement, with 40 types of buildings and more than 50 kinds of units available. Workers can be created at no cost, but must be trained for combat and special skills. Unit experience and fighting efficiency carry over between levels, while a fortified citadel offers a place to retreat, build up forces, and prepare a counterattack.
