A real-time tactical strategy game about Operation Overlord and the Allied campaign to liberate German-occupied Western Europe during World War II. Players command Allied forces across five missions inspired by historical events at Utah, Omaha, Gold, Cherbourg, Sword and Juno.
Battles on land and in the air call for careful use of terrain, unit strengths and weaknesses, and special abilities. More than 80 unit types gain upgrades through combat experience and success. Tactics include flanking manoeuvres, encirclements, artillery support and resupply, while maps reflect real terrain and its impact on combat.
