平台游戏
最古老的视频游戏类型之一——平台游戏——以其独特的游戏过程而闻名。玩家控制角色，在关卡中移动，跳跃于“平台”之间，攀爬楼梯，收集物品并与敌人战斗。对手的智力通常很弱，甚至完全不存在。一些平台游戏侧重于速度和反应，另一些则更像是益智游戏，还有一些要求玩家正确组合动作以克服障碍。平台游戏的类型多样性非常广泛。
