An expansion for King's Bounty: Armored Princess, it includes the full Armored Princess campaign and two separate mini-campaigns. Champion of the Arena centers on gladiatorial battles against bosses, while Defender of the Crown features tactical encounters in arenas with randomly selected allies and enemies.

The main campaign combines real-time exploration with turn-based tactical battles. Hero progression, new creatures, quests, items, abilities, and spells expand the options for building an army and planning combat; companions and a pet dragon are also part of the campaign. A world editor lets players create maps, campaigns, and tactical challenges.
