This medieval city-building strategy focuses on developing settlements into prosperous kingdoms while defending them from invasions by neighbouring powers and expanding into new territories. Across ten scenarios, the player manages finances, population, and food supplies, builds docks for fishing, and cultivates fields to grow crops and raise livestock. Keeping citizens healthy and entertained goes hand in hand with recruiting infantry and cavalry to defend the city.
Cities are rendered in 3D, with a camera that can zoom in on the action and buildings that can be placed anywhere on the map. Settlement growth depends on balancing resources and the population’s needs while strengthening defenses and claiming new lands.
