A first-person MMORPG set in a medieval fantasy world, Mortal Online lets characters develop skills and choose a profession, activities, and allegiances. PvP and PvE take place in the same open world, with no separate zones for player combat; characters have no levels, and progression comes from improving skills. Combat is real-time and aim-based, while death can mean losing carried items.
Characters can pursue crafting, magic, trade, or combat, explore the world, and gather resources. Players can build houses and cities, form guilds, fortify their holdings, and take part in sieges. Other activities include taming and breeding mounts, alchemy, metallurgy, and lock-picking.
