Neverwinter Nights (2002) — original script — this is a campaign. It includes about 60 hours of gameplay. Gameplay focuses on developing the player's character through adventures, who eventually becomes the hero of the story. The PC is tasked with defeating a powerful cult, collecting the 4 reagents needed to stop the plague, and preventing an attack on the city of Neverwinter, located on the Sword Coast of Faerûn in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms campaign setting. The first and last chapters of the campaign involve the city of Neverwinter itself, but the long middle part of the story requires the player to venture into the surrounding countryside and travel north to the city of Luskan. Along the way, many additional side quests become available.
