A real-time strategy game set during the final battles of the Second World War in Europe: in 1944–1945, the Western Allies and the Red Army race to capture Berlin. The player commands American, British, French, or Soviet forces, while the German campaign presents an alternate reality in which German engineering prototypes have entered mass production.
The armies field more than a hundred unit types, including prototypes. Officers have individual abilities, and vehicle damage makes tactical manoeuvres important. Soldiers can occupy buildings and vehicles, and fight inside houses; factories produce supplies, while the time of day and weather affect battles.
