This top-down arcade space simulator with role-playing elements takes place in the Wildlands Sector, where a corporate war is escalating. The player is free to choose an occupation and shape relations with the factions through their actions, working as a cargo runner, miner, mercenary, merchant, smuggler, or pirate.

Activities include hauling cargo, mining rare ores, attacking merchant ships, and joining large fleet battles. Ships of several classes are available, including drone carriers and the Yamato battleship, and can be upgraded with modules. Death costs the player their ship, though insurance reimburses most of its value in credits.
