A tactical space strategy game set in the Star Trek universe, where the player commands a starship in combat. Power can be allocated among the ship’s systems to support different tactics, from hit-and-run maneuvers to direct assaults. A streamlined management interface reduces micromanagement and keeps the focus on battles.
Star Trek: Starfleet Command 3 lets players customize a ship’s weapons, engines, shields, and other systems. Progression brings access to better phasers and disruptors, stronger shields, and special weapons. Officers gain experience and unique skills that improve the ship’s efficiency and enable advanced attacks, while more experienced officers can also be recruited.
