Star Wars: Force Commander — The game weaves an original story between the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and Return of the Jedi, occasionally intersecting with known Star Wars events. It is shown from the point of view of a young Imperial Navy officer, Brenn Tantor, who starts out as a stormtrooper, but soon enough receives his own command. The first task (of the training missions) is to find an escape pod that has landed on Tatooine, and then track down the droids that were inside. This is a reference to the opening scenes of Episode IV, when C-3PO and R2-D2 escape the Empire via an escape pod that crashes on Tatooine.
