This space RPG with strategic and tactical elements is set six years after the events of 2226, as the Empire continues its war against the Aliens. Small, maneuverable squadrons take part in the conflict, and the Star Wolves team returns to action amid human space pirates, rogue AI and alien forces.
Players command a squadron and choose where to travel and which missions to undertake. The story is nonlinear, with dynamic missions and several possible endings. Ships can be upgraded with a wide range of parts, while new characters and mercenaries can join the team. The game spans more than 50 star systems and includes new vessels, such as a Mothership and ships built with alien technology.
