This real-time strategy game with a third-person perspective is set on an Earth laid waste by a catastrophe centuries earlier. Two factions fight to survive in the hostile wasteland: the Echelon, who endured the disaster through artificial hibernation, and the Sai, who adapted to the changed environment.
The player commands troops from the front line rather than from a detached overhead view. Battles span several levels, with units moving through the air, across rooftops, over the ground, and underground; using this vertical layout can provide a strategic advantage.
