This real-time geopolitical and military strategy game spans the period from World War II to the near future, with the player leading a chosen nation through historical crises and shifting international relations. Campaigns set specific objectives, while historical scenarios offer shorter sessions; in sandbox mode, players choose a nation and a victory condition.
Running a country involves managing its economy and resources, trading, forming alliances, and using diplomacy, espionage, or intimidation to influence other nations. Land, air, and naval forces can be directed at both strategic and tactical levels, with conventional attacks and long-range missile strikes available. Decisions affect the course of historical events and relations between nations.
