A tactical strategy game about combating an alien invasion in Mega Primus in 2084, where social order is collapsing and extraterrestrials terrorize the population. As the X-COM Commander, the player fights the threat and investigates the enemy’s intentions, while also facing criminal gangs, religious sects, and police affected by alien infiltration.
Battles against alien fleets in the skies take place in real time, while ground-based tactical missions can be played either in real time or turn-based. Researching alien technology unlocks new weapons; the player also fights alien sympathizers and takes the war into the Alien Dimension.
