A real-time strategy war game in which robotic armies fight for territory and resources. Battles unfold across open environments, and the player must capture ground before the opposing force gains the upper hand. Humorous video sequences introduce and conclude levels, while the music shifts to reflect the changing mood of battle.

Players seize factories, radar stations, and repair facilities, and choose which robots and vehicles those factories produce. The available forces include six types of robot soldiers, tanks, jeeps, repair vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and artillery. Soldiers can perform a wide range of actions but may not always obey orders. The campaign spans twenty levels across five planets, with terrain ranging from Arctic wastes to lands of fire and lava.
