In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the next story quest becomes available right after you get out of the stocks in Troskovice and part ways with your buddy Jan. Before the tavern fight, Henry discovers that attending the wedding where Sir Otto will be present is possible if you earn the trust of either the blacksmith or the miller.
As soon as the quest begins, a girl named Bara will approach you. She can provide information on how to earn money and where to get new clothes. She will also tell you about a fighter nicknamed Cat — this will start the new quest Fight: Training I.
You can also ask her other questions. Bara will kindly give you some lockpicks and tell you what to do. If you need a horse for fast travel, you can temporarily steal one from the pen in the south of Troskovice.
The miller has prepared for you three exciting and challenging tasks, each of which will open up a world of stealth, lockpicking, and thievery. But don't forget the importance of logic — without it, key characters in the story may refuse to cooperate. If this happens, you will have to find the necessary items and objects to complete the mission on your own.
There are three main quests available:
The last of them will be active even after you attend the wedding ceremony. In addition, along the way, you can complete other side quests, such as:
The blacksmith's quests are fundamentally different from the miller's tasks, but in this case, you can also attend the wedding. Our hero learns blacksmithing but soon discovers that a shipment of materials for the wedding is missing. Together with the local lord, he sets off in search and encounters bandits. Upon returning, the blacksmith informs him that special steel is needed for the wedding gift.
Here are the quests necessary for completion:
Depending on the quest chain you chose, the hero will find himself at the wedding in different statuses. But regardless of this, most of the story tasks will remain unchanged.
When meeting Sir Semin, it is recommended to offer your help in solving the problem with beggars outside the estate walls. Additionally, you will be given an extra task — to talk with Sir Swatek.
Follow the marker and meet the familiar young man. He is the one you recently fought with in the tavern. Tell him that it was an interesting fight and that they were better. This will earn you some reputation.
If you have previously completed the "Mutt" and "Lackey" quests, you are already familiar with the local huntsman and have saved him from wolves. His son will recognize Henry and thank him, thus increasing your reputation. The men will then start discussing their friend who is trying to woo a girl with poetry. Respond that girls love poetry, then agree to try to meet her.
To win the favor of the beauty, choose the following options:
Then the girl will ask where you are from and what you are looking for here. The optimal choice is to tell her where Henry is from and what happened to his homeland ("From Skalitz" and "Burned down"). Finally, agree to dance with Mouse and return to Swatek.
This additional task will appear in your journal if you are already acquainted with the man. Since Vojislav has a passion for alcohol, he will ask you to watch over him and not let him drink too much. This will not affect the story, but if you lose sight of him, you will later find him drunk behind the bench where you met Mouse. You will have to find his wife and tell her that he got drunk. There are two options here:
Near the huntsman, you will also meet Sir Ptacek, but he will not want to talk to Henry.
Return to Sir Semin and inquire once more about the tasks that need to be completed. When the topic of beggars comes up, choose the option "I'll talk to the guard". Otherwise, your reputation will decrease. This will add two more assignments to your task journal.
Talk to the guard, selecting any response options. He will share information about where to find food for the needy. The pantry will be marked on the map — that's where you'll find the leftover provisions. However, this is not necessary, as you can freely gather food from the guest tables. Additionally, in the adjacent kitchen room, a large dish of cheesecakes awaits you. You need to collect a total of 40 units of any food.
You will find the guests at the next table from Sir Semin. In the dialogue with Yurko, choose any response options. You will have to bring them some drinks in any case.
Turn around and find the entrance to the cellar, guarded by a guard. You have two options:
If you chose the first option, you can try your luck again and pass a skill check. In this case, he will let you into the cellar. Failing the check, you'll have to wait a bit until he temporarily leaves his post.
Enter the cellar and find the round jug with Moravian plum brandy. Later that evening, when you meet Sir Semin again, your reputation will slightly decrease.
This task will be available if you arrived at the wedding with the miller. Head to the guest table in the barn and climb up to the attic using the ladder at the end of the building. Here, you will meet Sir Ptacek and Annelina. Inquire about what happened and ask her to return the ring. Pass a skill check when Wojtek appears and return to Chamberlain Ulrich.
In this situation, you need to find a sword for Sir Semin's son. As before, climb up to the barn attic, where you'll find a man with his companion. In the conversation, find out all the details about the missing sword. Then go down to the guests and talk to Sir Swatek, with whom you already discussed Mouse. Choose the charisma skill check — "Even the bailiff's son won't escape punishment". Thanks to your outfit, this option will always be successful. After that, ask Swatek what he did with the sword, and you'll learn that the sword is in the pond.
Head to the small pier where Henry previously talked to Mouse. Jump into the water and retrieve the sword — it's lying at the edge under a small ladder.
After the wedding ceremony, you need to find the newlyweds. Strangely enough, the bride will be waiting for you in the cellar with drinks. Talk to her. She will offer a drink, but regardless of your responses, Wojtek will appear again, triggering a lengthy cutscene.
We play as Boguta. To increase reputation, choose the following responses:
