Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: The Devil's Pack Walkthrough

The quest "The Devil's Pack" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 becomes available after completing the mission "Speak of the Devil," in which you free one of the thugs. Now you need to gather the remnants of his gang to increase your influence. We'll tell you how to find all the members of the Dry Devil's pack.
Ask Kubenka about other gang members
Do not ignore this side activity, as without information, Henry simply won't know where to start looking for friends. We recommend following this guide and finding the bandits in the same sequence to quickly increase your reputation among the gang.
Talk to Borzik
The first member of the Dry Devil's squad will be Borzik — a former bandit who decided to step away from killing and robbery after the death of his brother to devote his life to atoning for his sins. Head to the village of Grunta by the marker on the map and find him at the cemetery behind the church during the day.
Exhaust all available options in the dialogue and agree to pray at his deceased brother's grave for the Dry Devil and all his entourage. You can pass a learning check. If you do this positively, you will slightly reduce your reputation in this settlement. Also, do not choose options where you try to persuade Borzik — this will lead to a decrease in reputation.
How to free Janosh from the stocks
According to the plot, you need to go to the reeve of Myskovice and find out about Mytar, one of the members of the Dry Devil's gang. However, here you will also learn about Janosh. Below we will describe this storyline, but if you want to save time, use this method.
Go to Myskovice and find the stocks on the central square where a man is locked up. Fast forward time to night, then wait until the only guard moves to the barracks. If this doesn't happen, hide the torch and approach him closer, and when he starts scolding Henry for traveling at night without a lantern, move to the nearby stone arch. The guard will chase you, and when he comes close, take the torch in your hands. He will immediately head to the barracks.
All that's left is to quickly pick the complex lock on the stocks. By this time, your lockpicking skill should be developed, so this shouldn't be a problem. Choosing this method will save you time and a considerable amount of money.
Another way to do this is to wait for the night and perform a pickpocketing. At midnight, the reeve goes to sleep in the barracks, the building is right next to the stocks where Janosh is locked up. Entering here is quite simple, as you won't be breaking the law by being here even at night. Wear the most inconspicuous clothes for theft and steal two keys from the guard's pocket.
Talk to the reeve of Myskovice
If you prefer to complete quests without breaking the law, head south to the settlement of Myskovice. On the main street near the blacksmith, find the steward's house and talk to the reeve Krizhizek. The man will tell you about the misdeeds of Mytar, as well as the second gang member, Janosh Venger, who is locked in the stocks on the central square.
The second bandit can be freed if you heal the wounded Luczek and pay the reeve a large sum of money (it cost us 440 coins).
Heal Luczek
Save your progress beforehand and start treating the wounded:
- Examine his wounds and say you can give a remedy;
- Give Luczek any pain-relieving decoction;
- Rinse the wound with water or schnapps;
- Bandage the wound;
- Pray for him (persuasion check);
- Complete the treatment.
If you did everything correctly, Luczek will feel better, and the reeve will agree to give you the keys to the stocks, but only if you pay for the damage caused by Venger. The starting price is 500 groschen, but we managed to reduce it to 440. Note that bargaining will slightly reduce your reputation. Once you have the key, head to the stocks and release Janosh.
Inquire about Komar at the tavern
After talking with Janosh Venger, several additional markers will appear on the map, indicating where you can find information about the Pole nicknamed Komar. Head to the nearest point on the map and talk to the innkeeper, who will kindly tell you that Komar is having an affair with the local butcher's wife. In the conversation, you can also pass a persuasion check.
Talk to the butcher's wife in Przitoky
After receiving information from the innkeeper, another marker will appear on the map. Head there and talk about Komar with the butcher's wife. If you pass the skill check, she will tell you her husband decided to punish the bandit for rumors of an affair with her.
Ride your horse to the large tree in the nearby field. As soon as you get close, a cutscene will start, after which you need to pass a check of one of the three skills to avoid a fight (charisma, intimidation, impression). We recommend equipping the appropriate outfit beforehand, otherwise, you might fail the check.
If you pass the check positively, the butcher will drive away the cow, and Komar will be left hanging in the noose. Approach the tree and cut the rope, then free the bandit and talk to him.
In the conversation, Komar will ask you for any weapon. If you agree to give it, he will start a fight, in which you will also have to participate. However, this will slightly increase your reputation among the gang and decrease it among the residents of this settlement. We refused to give the weapon, but immediately said that we freed Janosh — the reputation increased.
Inquire about Ranek at the tavern
After freeing Janosh, you will learn in the dialogue that Ranek likes to play dice at a nearby tavern. Follow the marker on the map and prepare the appropriate equipment in advance to pass the skill check. For example, we play as an evil hero, so we use intimidation with impressive armor.
The innkeeper will say that local players should know about Ranek. Agree to follow them to the backyard and you will learn the backstory: Ranek owed a large sum of money, so the locals locked him in an outhouse. Trying to get out, the guy drowned, but now the locals will demand that the main character pay his debt. Pass a persuasion or intimidation check, and if the outcome is negative, kill two easy enemies.
Find Matush
Finding Matush Mytar is not too difficult, considering he will be waiting for you on one of the main roads between Myskovice and Suchdol. The landmark will be a broken cart with several corpses nearby. Under the tree in the bushes awaits Mytar's gang.
As in most cases, we recommend preparing for a skill check in advance. Mytar, of course, will refuse to join the Dry Devil's gang but won't be afraid to collect a "tax" for using the road from the hero. The money is significant — about a thousand groschen. If you fail the check or simply refuse to pay, you'll have to fight a large band of robbers.
Talk to the Dry Devil
If you have completed all the points described above and found the available members of the Devil's gang, return to the "Devil's Lair" and wait until morning, as the Dry Devil may refuse to talk to you at night. Tell him about everyone who couldn't or didn't want to join the gang, and also choose the options with drinks to increase your reputation among new friends.
The next morning, the Dry Devil will be waiting for you in the courtyard of the tavern. You will be able to ask him all the questions you are interested in, as well as optionally learn new fencing techniques.
After the dialogue, you will receive the achievement "The Dirty Seven": you found all the members of the Dry Devil's gang.
