In the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the quest "Attila" offers players an exciting adventure where they need to find a stolen horse. This guide provides all the necessary information for successfully completing this task.
How to start the quest Attila
The quest can be started after completing the story quest Taking French Leave. In Kuttenberg, ask innkeeper Slachalek from Maleshow what's new. The innkeeper will hint that it's worth offering help to the horse dealer.
To the west of the settlement, find the groom Gastal and ask why he looks so distressed. The breeder will tell you that he suffered due to an attack on the von Bergov fortress. Then you will need to either pay or pass a difficult persuasion check. After this, Gastal will say that he wants to sell the horse of the former ruler of the fortress, but it was stolen by bandits. Agree to deal with the horse thieves to start the quest.
Find the thieves' camp
From the groom, head down the road towards the village of Visoka. Stop before the second stream along the way, then turn left and follow along the left bank until you find the horse thieves' camp to the right of the stream. You will face six well-armed bandits — negotiation is not an option. Combat in the open field will be challenging, so use the high ground and don't let enemies get behind you. It's better to wait for night: first take out the patrols, then deal with the sleeping ones.
Mount the horse
At the entrance of the camp, mount the horse named Attila. There's an option not to kill the bandits and simply steal the stallion. However, keep in mind: the steed might get scared and throw you off, forcing you into combat.
Take the horse to the Maleshow horse farm
Deliver Attila to the breeder in Maleshow.
Talk to Gastal
Share the good news with the horse dealer. The groom will generously reward Henry with silver and also offer the opportunity to improve his horseback riding skill.
